Portinari

This piece, in its solo form, is fundamentally incomplete as it lacks the flute part I wrote for it. I am not quite satisfied with how the flute part turned out, since I had no previous experience in writing for it, but even though the melodies are a bit clunky on some sections it does add some beauty and harmonic colour to what are already fairly jazzy chords. The final section of this piece was written for piano only in a sleepless 3AM burst and a rather gray 8AM morning, and it is shot from a different (highly specific) location due to its difference to the rest of the piece.

This piece is comprised of several loosely-categorised sections, named in different languages (perhaps there should be more sections for Greek and Latin now that I write this, but it’s a bit too late to correct that now and I’m not sure anyway):

You can find a not-really-perfectly-accurate sheet for both instruments here.
